Abstract

Field studies were conducted in 1992 and 1993 to evaluate endothall alone and in various herbicide programs for weed control in Texas peanut production. Endothall alone controlled less Texas panicum and southern crabgrass than bentazon + paraquat. The addition of Cadre (AC 263,222) or Pursuit (imazethapyr) to endothall improved weed control and provided early season control of Texas panicum, southern crabgrass, yellow nutsedge, and pitted mornigglory.
